Hypnosis Cd's Can Control Your Appetite So You Will Lose Your Weight By Alan B. Densky, CH Weight loss is the decrease of fat, bodily fluids, adipose tissues and lean mass resulting in a reduction of your body weight. Appetite is an urge to eat and drink for pleasure. It is significantly different from hunger, because hunger is only felt when your body doesn’t have a sufficient amount of body fat to sustain itself and therefore calls for food.
Appetite is often confused with hunger, but they are two different feelings with different factors. Hunger is a physical signal that your body needs food and it would be unhealthy if you tried to fight it. Appetite, however, is mainly caused by psychological factors and does not answer a physical need.
Indeed, when stimulated, the mouth is a source of pleasure and comfort, which is the reason why some persons like to chew gum for instance. It is also mostly for the same reason that people enjoy having a cigarette in their mouths, or why people can feel hunger without actually needing food.
This pleasure and comfort may be sought after unconsciously by the mind when facing a stressful situation, which is the reason why stress and anxiety can frequently cause the urge to eat. Our mind also often unconsciously creates associations between two actions, so that every time you do any of these actions your brain creates the urge to do the other simultaneously. This is why you might have the urge to eat when around friends, sitting at a table or watching television. Weight gain is also very often a side effect of several medications.
Even a small appetite problem can be seriously disabling and a potential risk for you health. Not only can it make you increasingly self-conscious about your physical appearance, but it might also threaten your health on the long term. Excessive appetite can cause obesity, respiratory difficulties, musculoskeletal problems, high blood pressure, and cholesterol and life threatening disorders such as diabetes, cancer and gallbladder disease.
Having control over your appetite would allow you to readily get significantly healthier and get back in shape. You wouldn’t have to worry continually about keeping a diet anymore, nor about the nutritional properties of what you eat. You will be able to choose what you eat, when you want to.
Several different drugs claiming to help ensure control over appetite or lose weight have been sold on the market over the past few years. Most of these miracle pills will at best only have a placebo effect. Others have shown more significant results but often also had to be withdrawn from the market because of their dangerous side effects. The majority of these pills have a structure chemically related to that of amphetamines and have similar dangers. But there are also natural ways of achieving weight loss that do not present any adverse effects,
